The manipulation of the mainstream media

We often assume that our public service media are independent,
that their reporting is objective and balanced.
But that is no longer the case!
Many of these mainstream media outlets are financed by globalists
and have therefore committed themselves to implementing the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030. For example, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU),
the umbrella organization of broadcasters in European countries,
to which the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG) also belongs and with which it is linked
through personnel and organizational ties, clearly commits to these UN goals.

Germany: The Shadow State is Forming...

The New Secret Service Against Critical Media

The media outlet "Correctiv" no longer operates in Germany as a medium in the traditional sense, but rather as part of a network that uses intelligence methods to target political opponents – under the guise of journalism, writes former president of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Hans-Georg Maaßen, in a guest article on TE. The case of the meeting in Potsdam, staged as "Wannsee Conference 2.0," is a prime example: distorted content, manipulative narratives, close ties to government agencies – all of this is less in keeping with press freedom than with intelligence-driven subversion. This "investigation" did not uncover the truth, but rather orchestrated a political campaign that fits seamlessly into the narrative of the coalition government: the fight against the right – as a fight against all opposition. The new red-black-green coalition now intends not only to continue this course, but also to enshrine it in law. The coalition agreement contains concrete plans for how security authorities are to be "interlinked" with government-affiliated, state-funded NGOs in the future – ostensibly in the name of combating disinformation. In reality, this is creating a new domestic intelligence agency – but without democratic oversight. Maaßen warns: With the help of organizations like "Correctiv," the German government is building an intelligence-like apparatus for monitoring and disciplining critical media and citizens. What is being disguised as "civil society" is in reality a politically motivated system for ideological control. Investigative journalism is becoming a state-funded weapon that blurs the line between controlling power and controlling power. The task of uncovering abuses is being perverted into a method for systematically defaming dissenting opinions – journalistic appearances, intelligence practice. "Correctiv" is just one example of a new class of institutions that act as an extension of the executive branch. The planned structural integration of these actors into the security apparatus is a frontal assault on the separation of powers, freedom of the press, and open society. What is taking shape here is a shadow state within a state—with the declared mission of portraying opposition and diversity of opinion as a security risk. Anyone who wants to protect democracy must confront it precisely at this point.
